That pipe is a work of art! [up]
How does it sound like? Any chance of posting a video?

The muffler is a pre fabbed, Burns Stainless unit.
Bike doesn't run so no video until this summer.

I have a few things to finish building before I tear the bike down for paint, powder coat, and all new bearings and brake system.

Since I love not riding my motorcyle for years at a time, I went ahead and purchased this :)

BTW If you haven't noticed yet, you have to reverse the snout drive to CCW if you're going to drive it from the crank.

Hows the pulley going to spin with it facing that direction?
I plan on fabricating or machining a new primary cover to house a 90 degree gear drive. This will allow me to drive the pulley perpendicular to the rotation of the crank.

Something that hasn't been done before and would look a lot cleaner than mounting it sideways across the chassis as it has been done in the past.

Also the supercharger may be spun 180 degrees from that picture, either way it will be no easy or small task to drive it in that location. And its too big to mount down where the left side air scoop would go.

I've been curious, is your M45 off a mercedes? Mine is off a Mini Cooper. I'm not 100% sure of the correct direction for MY exact super charger yet.
But either way, depending on how I setup my gear drives/pulleys, I can get the blower to spin the correct direction.

Its from Mercedes. Some People call it as m65(don't really know Why).

on My understanding All eatons are CW.

I hope that All the Power You get With a charger aren't Going to disappear on gearing. :D

Btw there is one finnish Guy who has done Pretty similiar thing on hes xlh, more about that on hes project thread(pics included): http://finnbikers.fi/foorumi/index.php?topic=493.0

I've always second guessed selling the Buell last year, so out of the blue I contacted the buyer to check on its progress. We settled a deal and I'm buying it back! I will finish this bike and get it road worthy by August in time for Concourse de Elegance (car week here in Monterey, CA).

No big extravagant upgrades for it like I dreamed of before, just get it ridable. Exhaust needs a hangar, mount the electronics and battery, redo the lsl headlight as I broke a tab in it during installation, install an oil cooler, and powdercoat a few things.
