So everyone knows how hard it is to come by .22 ammo. Well I work five to six days a week for 12-15 hours a day so I can't be one of the 75 guys standing at the door to see if they have ammo! I always go in with my family late in the day and ask if they have any. 22 and expect them to say no. Well Saturday I went in 30 minutes before closing asked the guy he said no and I went on about my business. No harm no foul! Sunday I just so happen to be off so I called that morning to check, the guy says we just sold or last five "BRICKS" that were left over from yesterday! I was pissed! I finally had a chance to get som ammo and was lied to because the guy was ready to go home. I went and spoke with the manager expecting nothing to happen but I just wanted to vent a little and needless to say the manager was actually very apologetic about his employee giving me bad information went to the back and brought me a brick of 525 out!

Nice. Glad it worked out for you but all gun shops do that bullshit. Say they are "out" but have hundreds of rounds available. I've experienced it many times over the past year.

Bass pro is pretty bad about that. They put everything in the back and they only sell you ammo with a gun purchase.

Yeah I can understand having a little for your customer that buys a gun, because there are guys getting paid by the pawn shops just to buy up all the ammo and bring it to them! It sucks!
