Hi guys I am looking at a xb12scg with 17K miles on it. Guy is asking 4100. Is there anything I should be looking for or asking about? Thanks for the help.

Check for oil leaks. Check the wheel, steering head & idler pulley bearings. Check belt condition. Check fork seals. Check for warped front rotor. Check for all other typical motorcycle stuff. If it all checks out, ride away and enjoy!

Paid 3900$ in near mint condition a 2006 buell xb12scg, brand new tires, brand new brake pads. It has 24k and starts with first crank. As suggested by alien check for leaks, especially at the rear head which can be tricky to see

Ride it. Be sure to go through all gears multiple times. I didn't and it resulted in over $2000 worth of transmission work. I've got a rock solid bike now but I would have passed had I known the guy was selling a damaged bike.

my bike is an 05 xb12scg with 19k miles on it and its mint. it rides just as good as it did when it had 3k miles on it. Thats a good deal, but as always bring cash and see if you can get him down to like 3800. I payed 4800 for mine back in 09, and it only had 2500 miles on it.
