Question about airbox trim piece

I was just wondering if the oval Pegasus logo in this piece of airbox trim separates from the large silver piece surrounding it. In other words, can I just use the oval piece elsewhere on my bike without having to cut it out? Thanks

I am pretty sure you would have to cut it out. But its been like 2 years since I have seen one in person.

Thanks. I'll have to pass on it then. Not worth $40 since there's a good chance I'd screw the cut up, lol.
