Question about selling parts

Since this is one of the most active forums here, I thought I would pose my question. Last year I traded my Sportster for a Buell. Because there was about a 1k difference in price on his end, he offered me a crazy inventory of parts he had purchased from a Harley dealer going out of business, as well as many used parts he had been collecting for himself. I have no problem placing ads for the used parts, but because I have a huge amount of other NEW items, I didn't want to be considered a vendor of some kind. I refer to it as an inventory, and actually cataloged every piece with a pic and serial number, but it will not be replenished. Here are three pics. The cabinet is mostly Buell parts, some Harley parts. The corner pic (dont mind the dust from my cnc router lol), are larger parts. The third pic is another huge box with mostly smaller parts like bolts, fittings, random stuff. So I am basically looking for an OK to sell this large amount of parts on the forum. I don't want to cause an issue, so I thought I would ask first. I have even considered just sending the parts lists to some actually vendors and try and sell the whole lot so that I dont have to deal with every tiny piece. Thoughts would be appreciated.

You're good to sell it, but you'll want to put up prices for each thing.

I wasn't so sure about taking it on when I made the deal. But I was in a position that I could float the money at the time, so I was ok with it. I will definitely get my list up soon. Since I am dealing with the fact that I need a new head, this seems like a good time to finally start moving parts. As I want to move stuff, I will definitely be making great deals Although funny thing, it has been my own little private inventory. A few times I have needed something, and come to find out I have it on my shelf lol.

Some of this stuff is probably fitment for: 03~07, 08~10, 03, 06, 07, 09

Like some primary covers only fit certain years. TPS changed on 08's. Headlight recalls.

A list with prices would be great! You could do it with Google docs and share the link to it, that way you could edit quantities and so forth with ease and not have to change the link.

Will have the list up today. I spent last night going through the rest of the parts. Currently at $4323.5 in parts. Have about 3 more pages. That doesn't include used Buell parts, and all the new Harley parts I have as well.

Here is the list of parts. I am entertaining larger offers from a few people at first. But if you see something you just have to have, let me know. The parts list contains retail prices, which was needed so that I had an idea of the total amount of money in the parts. Although many of the retail versus online prices were not significantly different. I have some used parts I will be posting soon. I also have a list I am working on of Harley parts that came in part of this deal. If you are interested in those, let me know.

Final total in just new Buell parts was $4610.21. I probably received another $1500 in Harley parts as well. Crazy!

Once again, those prices are MSRP. Funny thing, they really weren't that different from prices that were listed on various websites I visited. I am not trying to sell anything at those prices, but I needed a baseline idea of value. Remember, these are brand new parts.

Thays not the price he is asking. He said he listed the retail prices so he could base his prices off that.
