This was my hobby for the better part of six months. I went through six failed prototypes to get to this, and I am happy with the results! This is 1/2 by 3/4 steel stock, twisted 45 degrees, punched the holes for the mirror mounts and the bars, ground all the edges round, bead blasted, then high solids paint and there you go! I saw R mirrors on an S for sale on Ebay quite a while ago and loved the way it looked. And the practicality of the result is that they are far better at seeing what's behind you than the stock lollipops.
