Can someone help me out with some pics of under the S seat. i am finishing up the paint on the rails now and pics would help out on how things were relocated. I know the brake resevoir is different and have been searching the forum, but cant seem to find any good pics of how it would look. Any help is appreciated and any tips would be cool too. Thanks guys.[cool]

look at the first pic in this post...the rear brake res is forward and below the seat pan on the right side, there's a threaded tab which is where the res is mounted to right above the master cylinder look here this is what your's should look like when you get it bolted up

you can see the res in the pic below, look fwd of dongle below battery...the res cap is visible next to shock spring

If you didn't get an s fluid reservoir, you might want to make a custom bracket for it. I did that the first time and it worked just fine. I moved mine about an inch further toward the center of the tail from the stock s position instead of trying to put it under the seat.

[up] Buellbradski, I got an S res also!! I like the S tail cause there is a ton of storage room in there!

There is ? Are you being sarcastic ? I don't have place to put anything in there !!! May be it's because of my seat, I have an Scg ....

he's referring to not having the ECM and bank angle sensor located under the seat...it's R to S tail conversion, R's have the before mentioned stuff under the lower side of the fairing stay...

I didn't think there was really that much more room, but the seats are way more comfy for less of a cost.

Got ya ! ;)

Does anyone have a pic of the reservoir. Don't have the s one and just need a reference.

Thanks

I mounted my R reservoir under the airbox cover on mine. Of course I did an extensive airbox mod to get there. A simple machine screw and the bottom of the reservoir holds it in place.
