Can some of you guys do me a favor and post pics of your R1 turn signals on a firebolt. Also are you happy with them? Also where you got them from. Just trying to decide wether or not I want to go with them. Thanks!!

I dont have any close ups of mine, I mainly bought them for hole fillers, I hate turn signals that are on a stalk.

I have these.

I'm planning on doing the same, I have an integrated taillight in the rear and turn signal mirrors up front so i'm pluggin the holes with the flushmounts. Placed somewhat of a special order with XBlights for some splitters to run 4 signals on each end (last time I wired the mirrors it didnt turn out too pretty) Its gonna be a week or two before I get to it but ill post up once I get them on.

Hey oh9bolt did you have to drill out your fairing? Also how bright are they?

Yeah I had to drill out the fairing and fairing stay, it wasnt a huge hole maybe 1 or 2 drill sizes bigger than what is there. I also cut off the stock bullet connectors and soldered them to the new turn signals, the ones that come on the signals are way too small.

They are bright enough IMO.

These just came in the mail, like oh9bolt said the connectors are too small and fairing holes too small. So once i get the holes drilled out and new connectors on, i'll post some pics!blinkers

Alright, got a bunch of pics cuz they're worth a thousand words. I would recommend these to anyone, they fit on the bike like they were made for it. Gotta be a little handy with attaching the new connectors to the signals and I also had to trim the plastic nuts to get them to fit but all in all i'm super happy with them. Also, credit where credit is due, I had Mr Hall from xblights fashion me some "jumpers" so i could run 4 signals up front, 4 signals in the back (like always they were well made, and exactly what I asked for). Here's the pics:

Next up ill probably be sending some money 50-Dro's way

[up] Looks good, I forgot about having to cut the edges of the plastic nuts.

Are any modulators needed for the signal relays? When I bought mine the bike had no signals so I went to harley and paid around $50 for all signals. Kind of wish I did this now.

Any time you switch to LED signals the flasher relay needs to be replaced (or the low voltage will cause the signals to blink twice as fast), I bought this one from american sportbike relay

I think there may be some DIY flasher relays on here somewhere, but to me the $20 was worth me not electrocuting myself ;)

If you go to to autozone, pep boys, advance auto they have flasher's. I have a ep36 and it has to say for LED 3-6 lamps for it to work correctly and it was only around $10

This is what it looks like.

12r fire, are those blinkers the same in the front as well as the rear? (Referring to the yamaha flush mounts you linked)
