Race ECM?? Different for what years??

What years are the Race ECM's ok to swap between?

I know the '08 has it own type of auto learning ecm but can a '03 race ECM go into an '05 assuming they are both 9's or 12's???

I am trybto sell my '03 race ECM off my xb9r and need to know if it will work in an '05 xb9s??

It will not work on a '05. I have an '05 and the Part number for my Race ECM is 82007-05Y

It is definitely different according to the local HD Dealership.

I know you have to be careful of matching the ECM "EEprom versions?" (ex. CB050 to CB050, IB310 to IB310, etc.).

Most commonly, you simply copy the Race ECM Fuel & Timing maps from one ECM to another. Swapping ECM's or Eeproms can get hairy. Like Only1, I wouldn't chance it.
