Race map, ecm spy,cables?

How does this work. I get "ecm spy cables" and get a race map from??? The race map comes as an e-mail or what? Once i have the cables and and the map, I plug the cables up to my stock ecm and laptop and "apply" the race map to my stock ecm? I'm completely oblivious to this whole process[confused]

If Xopti hadn't closed - again, you could've gotten a race map from him for a fee. You may luck up and find someone willing to share it with you.

Best thing to do is to get the program and familiarize yourself with the ECMSpy tuning guide that it comes with. Search on here, Xoptiinside.com, and ECMSpy.com all have good info. You can get the ECMSpy program HERE

As far as tuning, you'll get the best results, though it will take more time, by datalogging your rides with Megalog Viewer - I believe it's still available from ECMSpy.com. Here's a great thread to help with that: ECMSpy & MegaLog tuning
