Racing stripes on an XB9S???

I'm getting a black '04 xb9s soon and I was thinking about running a white racing-stripe on the windscreen, airbox cover and possibly the front fender. it would actually be 3 strips, a thick center stripe with a thin stripe on each side, centered on the windscreen and following the same line on the airbox. has anyone done or attempted to do this? any tips, comments, or photos would be greatly appreciated.

there's someone on here with 2 stripes on the xbr, which would give you an idea on looks.

personally i would go with graphite gray or something and slightly out of center
