I have a 08 1125R. I would like to raise the bars a little from the negative angle they are at now. I thought of getting some new 1125R bars and having them bent before I put them on or maybe having some made that would give me at least a flat bar status. Looking at the cables and wiring it looks like I would not be able to do this without getting a longer set of cables and longer wiring harness. Is this assumption correct? I know of convertibars but I dont have an extra $400. I'm just wondering if there is a simple and relativly inexpensive way to gain a couple inches.
