I noticed the rattle on the test ride but noticed the windshield was a little loose. Got it home, tightened the windshield up. Rattle is still there.

Did some digging and saw that the horn can cause some rattling. Took of the front plate and noticed a little notch starting dig in where the horn is. Switched it around. Rattle is still there.

Whats next?

Dont worry about it. Its everything. Really. 2k is to low to be riding at anyways.

Once or twice a year you will want to go through and tighten EVERYTHING on the bike.

what loki said. these big 1203cc motors "shudder" alot at very low rpms and moderate to heavy load on them. come to think of it every twin i've ever road especially BMW boxers do this as well. betting if you keep the revs up the "rattle" will fix itself.

I have had a Harley for 4 years now and I dont really have much of a shutter at the low RPMs but maybe I am just used to it.

I had tightened everything and there was still a major rattle. Last night, for grins, I took off the flyscreen and placed a bead of silicone along the edges where it mounts. Let it dry overnight. Put the flyscreen back on and the rattle is about 90% gone.

Now to figure out something besides using silicone.

I put on the orginal plastic flyscreen and windshield last night and the rattle is all gone.

Mine rattles like crazy when its cold and gets better when the plastic warms up and swells. I cant hear it unless im putting down main street @ 20 in 2nd. I dont do alot of putting so no biggy. :D but im should prolly check out that horn.

Have 2006 uly rattle was horn hitting flyscreen solved problem by discarding 2 oval metal strips and mounting horn directly to bike

just got my uly in today and had the same rattle at 2k. i just went and got some door trim from the zone and installed it all the way around the fly screen mounting spot. vibe all gone but it was a bit tricky to align the bolts back up..
