re route breather filter

how often do you change your filters?

Is yours getting stopped up with crankcase gases or dirt & stuff? I don't think mine would never need changed.

I haven't changed mine either. But that is a good point.

I have 2 filters. I take one off, put the other on and clean the dirty one. When it gets dirty again, I swap them and clean again. I've had to swap and clean 3 times. My filter is mounted to the front of the oil cooler so it gets pretty dirty.

Mine is behind my heel guard. Never gets dirty

Think its getting dirty from the gasses. Mine is above my primary cover on the left side of the bike. Ended up doing that long re-route that was posted a while back.
Any of you guys have pics of your set ups... might have to re do mine in the way of position.

Here is how I ran mine.

I took the drain line and ran it down the rear swing arm along the brake line and have a petcock on it so that I can empty it when needed.

Ignore the green circle. Mine's behind the "CO" of the www.BuellXB.com stamp. A lot depends on location, don't think I'd ever need to change mine, though I do keep tabs on it.
