Sorry, my search skills are a little poor.
recently ran into an issue with my brake light. And I did search, but didnt come up with an answer. First off, yes I changed the bulb, but whats going is, neither the hand or foot lever will activate it. I saw the switch was an issue, but both going out at same time? maybe, but seems doubtful. I plan on trying to use a multi meter on it tomm and see what I can find out. But was wondering if you guys might have any better ideas what might be going on here.

thanks

There is a connector under the seat that goes to your rear brake light pressure switch. If you unplug it and jumper the pins, you can see if it's the switch, or the light itself. Dumb question...Did you make sure the bulb is good? It's cheap to check that. Good luck!

I've had a rather large amount of customers email saying their new light didn't work.... Upon further testing it was one if the brake switches.

AND... I've had 5 or 6 over the years that had both switches bad at the same time....

I'm guessing they just never really looked at it much, but once the new LED light was installed they noticed.
