Just FYI if anyone is in need of a rear stand. Cycle Gear has a sale on Trackside Rear stands for 39.99. I picked one up this morning to change the tire on my R and it worked great. I'm sure the quality is a little short of the pit bull ones, but it is 75% cheaper too.

Fronts also half price at $40!!

I was checking out their rear stands, they looked super nice for the money. I really like the retractable handle. How does the front stand work on the xb? I debated buying one but I wasn't sure how well it would do since one fork leg is longer than the other.

First front stand I've owned and it's been fine. No complaints at all. Just bought a new front rotor so I will be throwing the bike up on it to remove the tire.

Pit Posse has very nice stands at 90.00 for the rear and 130.00 for the front combo pin lift. They have 4 inch wheels which makes for easy lifts. Shipping was free. They are spool or cradle lift. I bought front combo stand with pin lift since I will be doing all my own suspension work. Never heard of one fork leg being longer than the other. Sounds like an urban legend to me. FYI bought spool kit from knight designs and they fit beautifully worth every penny.

One leg is lower on my 1125.... My front t-rex stand dose both pin and fork lift but with the fork lift the wheel has to be turned a bit to make the legs even enough to be stable...

The xbs are the same way. Can you pull the front wheel straight out if you completely remove the caliper? I usually rotate my right fork leg a little to remove the wheel, which wouldn't be possible with one of these stands, but if you completely remove the caliper it might work. Without the axle in there to hold the legs even, the left one will compress slightly and I picture it being difficult to get the axle back in. Wouldn't be bad if you made some kind of adapter so the legs sat even though.

You have to rotate the fork to remove the front wheel so if u use a stand like that you'll have to hang the bike from a strap or something like I do.

I think the deal is over I checked and the rear stand is $69.00 with $15.00 shipping.
