rear tire fender question

On my Ss the rear tire fender is pretty long and it looks bad in my opinion - does anyone know if I can just bolt a rear tire fender from an S on there or am I going to have to cut mine?

The S huggeer will not fit on the Ss. The upper belt guard will however. You could hack the Ss hugger to look like the S.
Something like this maybe.

Has anyone just put a shock protector (bag) on and just taken the hugger off? Any problems or downfalls you see with doing that?
