Hi guys my name is francesco, i have a buell xb 12 R , i like to no, what the best tires for this bike , for handling pretty much ismy consern. Thank you for time and have good day
I'm still planning on doing a BT016 in the rear on my next tire. I have one in the front right now. After that, I'll try the new Michelin, I think its called the pilot pure.
arguments are welcome, but I doubt you need more than a BT016 on the rear for the street. Unless you're heading UP a mountain road with dozens and dozens of tight turns, its hot and you're young. I doubt you'll ever spin up a 016. If I'm wrong I aplogize. But thats the only time I ever spun one up and that was on a 130 h.p. bike.
Me personally, I would rather have a little more tire than I need on the street. A confidence thing and a safety thing. As long as I am not replacing them often. Michelin Pilots of any flavor or the either version of the Pirelli Diablo Rossos are my favs....
