I'm trying to take off the rear tire so I can get a new one put on. The question that I have is on the front tire you have to go clockwise to loosen the axle. I don't think thats the same for the rear because then the axle would come loose going down the road. SO the axle has to go counter clockwise to loosen it up but I just cant seem to get it off or even loose. I've stud on the wrench, pounded on it with a hammer, and just tried about everything but an air tool because I don't have access to one. Also I did remove the screw next to that axle that keeps it tight on the swing arm. Any help would be great. Thank you

Pick up some penetrating oil like PB blaster and hose down the left side of the axle. Let that sit overnight then try it again with an obnoxiously long breaker bar. There is still a chance you could damage the axle because it's frozen in place, but getting a new one is pretty easy (ASB, buellparts.net, buellsterparts.com, etc.).

took me a 10' piece of 3/4 black steel heated and hammered out to the size of the 1/2" ratchet hahah it was the funniest thing ive ever done to my bike. i thought it was going to lift off the ground hahaha

Ok I'll try that. Yea I'm 260 pounds and it didnt even budge on me. That sucks though that they didnt put any anti seize lub on it. Do I need to put that on the front axle or is it just for the rear?

Yea I loosened the pinch bolt and that sucks that I'll be braking these thing I was hoping to just take it off and put it back on so I can ride again. Thanks for all the help guys.
