Ok,so I have to remove the rear tranny sprocket, the manual tells of a "holding tool"don't have one,has anyone just taken the sprocket off with an air impact? And anyone know the size of the sprocket nut? I am aquiring all the one off sized impact sockets doing my swap,at least I'll have them? Anyone who has tackled this any info would help, thanks

its reverse thread nut , n its locktited on, a impact should do it, i used a breaker bar when i was taking my motor apart, heating it up helps alot too. i cant remember the size tho .

Fock, did you do anything to lock the sprocket up,like the belt being on,although you did say you were tearing appart your motor, i just dont want to break anything in the tranny, and thanks for the input

Impact works fine with no lock device, I've done it. I used a 3/4" drive electric gun.

what do you mean by rear? Are you talking about the output shaft? im pretty sure its 1 7/8

Right on Kona, and Yes,im talking about the rear output shaft pulley that conects the belt to the rear sprocket, thank you on the info;)

To confirm, 1 7/8" socket, impact works fine. When doing so though have rear wheel on ground and hold the break, take some load off transmission.

i ended up using one of those chain oil filter wrenches to hold it lol, since i did it with the motor out
