Rear Turn Signals?(Wires)

Just got bike didn't come with any turn signals so looking at wires front are fine with male and female,But rear has 3 female and only one male?HELP don't get it shouldn't have 2 of each?(male Female)[confused]Will the resistor be wire that way?

According to the 05 manual you can download at the top of page.

Violet wire and a black wire for the right turn.

Brown wire and black wire for the left turn.

It shows in Figure 7-24 that there are 4 female conections.
 
Why would someone do that?Also looks like the resistor above has 3 males and one female.?
 
Looking at the wiring digram it shows three wires.
BK common ground shared by both signals and the brake light

BN Right rear trun signal

V left turn signal

Not sure if this helps but the 2 blinkers, brake light, and running light are all male which connect to the female coming from the wiring harness. you could just grab a signal from the front and plug it into the female at the rear to help identify everything
 
1125's, the BIKES harness is..

Right side rear signal negative is a male bullet.
Positive is a female bullet

Left rear is exact same just different length.

I'm not sure what the license plate bullets are, I'd assume negative is male and positive is female as well.

Brake, running and tail light ground are 3 female spades.
