I have been fixing my buell. new pads rotors and bearings, well i went to do the rear and when i took the rear wheel off the bearing on the pulley side just fell out?? so i kept looking and i pulled the sleeve out and its all grooved in. bearings that are in i think are the black recall ones from HD but not sure so now i need a new wheels pics will be up soon thanks[up]
 
the bearings were black, then orange, and now back to black....replace the bearing spacers while you're at it and get your bearings from All Balls Racing, they have 'em in sets, both front and rear cost me about $40...

check to see if the bearing socket appears oval in shape/elongated instead of round, even slightly then you may need a new wheel...if you have the right tools and a flat surface, you could check for out of round condition of the bearing socket/housing, let's hope it doesn't come to that and just be bad bearings...

new wheel, bummer:( that sucks...surdyke has 'em for $301.89...Stardust Silver P/N: G0309.02A8WAX, according to the parts book, it comes with bearings, spacer and valve stem
