you know i like to think that i am a easy going person... but how come thous of us that own an xb buells get no love when it comes to 6 speed transmission. now i dont want i thinks the real reason. i mean if i could get that one more gear ... oh boy. you know there have got to be someone out there who can build a 6 speed. come on people lets put our heads together BPG...lafox... dealsgap...somebody.

be easy (even without a six speed)

Im pretty sure baker are now making a buell 6 speed conversion kit, however its ridiculously priced, something like $2500

I think I have said this like seven times now. If you read the fitment on that 6 speed kit from Baker...

IT DOES NOT FIT XB'S

Tuber Buells only

ah my bad, last time I heard rumers but it looks like a six speed for the xb is still the holy grail [confused]. Maybe I should go back to the honda [down][down][down][down]

BPG you know there has got to be one person out there who builds transmission that can help.

be easy

Problem is, ours XB's don't have a trans-door for easy access like the Sportys. You have to split the cases for any trans work.

ok that is what i am talking about. you see firebuilt has given some kind of reason to why there isnt a six speed... well kind of just cause its hard to get to doesnt mean that someone hasnt tried in the last 4 years. someone has bound to have gotten board and taken one apart to try. anyone have a wreaked buell out there they are willing to part with for the betterment of buell?

be easy

LOL you could have asked me $3000 bucks ago warhorse and you could have had mine for slab of beer! [smirk] Bikes almost finished just waiting on the slow yanks to hurry up with my rearsets hehe :p

well you know time is everything[smirk]
ok who else out there is willing to trade there xb trans for a case of beer and the betterment of buell.

be easy
