Remembrance Stickers

I don't how many out there believe in luck on tempting faith but what if we started making our memorial logos then started dropping off like flies. That would suck

Buell Cru requested an rrh helmet sticker, so here it is:

The more I thought about it, the more it felt a little... wrong... idk. Whatever everyone else thinks.

That kinda seems like mocking his death to me. Since he didnt wear one you know...

I honestly think we should have the buell logo with the wings around with saying that we will remember all of our lost friends on here (like the one posted in the other thread?)

THEN for each member who passes, they get their own sticker, that way they people here can support everyone as a whole, and also certain people they fault more of a connection with.

It is clear that a helmet could have prevented the tragedy of this or at least minimized the chances. If he could speak now I would bet my life savings that he would say to wear a lid. With that being said I don't think it's mocking the death in any way. I feel it's a subtle statement that provokes conversation if other riders were to see it. Once they asked a brief description of the story may keep other riders thinking before they throw a leg over.

I'm not going to defend my idea. If it's made I'll take a couple (preferably white).

The way i see it is we do all know a helmet couldve saved his life (or very possibly) but he didnt wear one and that was his choice. So if we use the helmet as a sticker, to me thats just like using his death as an example. Sure it can be, but the stickers are not about using forum members deaths as examples as others, thats rude. The stickers are about remembrance of the forum member and if someone asks about the sticker THEN you can explain the story to them and tell them about how he couldve lived if he had a helmet.

Going straight to throwing his name on a helmet for remembrance is uncalled for and terribly rude. Its just about the same as making fun of him. Do you see where im coming from?

unless you did all 3 the same.seems like a helmet image is pretty universal for motorcycle riders.

not everyone disliked him.he wasnt one of my favorite members but then neither was delta not comparing the two but that didnt stop me from donating wasnt even on here when rabbit was.iv had many disagreements with members but cant think of any i wouldnt help if i could.i out grew the whole holding a grudge thing many years ago as im sure many others did.

like water off a ducks back anrkizm, I have been around the block way too many times to let an internet warrior get the best of me (as well some of the mma forums I am on make our disagreements here seem trival) and stand by this

Yeah I gotta say I'm not so sure the helmet one is good or not. It does feel a little like running him up a flagpole to make an example for all to see. Doesn't seem super respectful. I know, I drew it, but I'm just putting ideas on the table. On the other hand, anrkizm has a point. A helmet is pretty universal for motorcycle riders. Almost like, they aren't riding any more so they are "hanging up the helmet" (regardless if they were known to wear one or not).

But one thing is for sure, rrh is gone, so if one doesn't have anything nice to say, it might be best to keep it to oneself just out of simple respect. Nobody looks like a big man saying bad stuff about a guy who isn't around anymore. And bickering amongst ourselves doesn't seem very productive to me.

Im not making the helmet stickers with rrh on it. Same for rabbit. Ill be make the D1 the rabbit and Robert's username on here. Take it it leave it boys. Don't like em don't ask me to send you one.
