Replacement Cooling Fan

I know cooling fan replacements are available but we all know that the supply will not last forever. Has anyone found a replacement that is not from Buell. Kinda like the 2003 V-6 fuel pump replacing the original. Has this been already covered? Sorry if it has.

We know the kind of fan to replace it with, but you'd need the housing since it is custom to the frame.

Factory fan is a spal brand. Which is by far the best out there. Wouldn't recommend changing to another brand.

I had to go this route 2 weeks ago.

I ordered the fan on Amazon, had it delivered to a friend of a friend who was flying to SA 3 days later. So I
had my fan within 5 days. Followed the above mentioned thread, and she's happy again.
