I want to get a trans. hero blue tank cover for my 04 xb12r. Is there one out there at would fit it. All i am finding so far is 06-later. Thanks

Shouldnt all airbox covers for XB, Ully, & 1125's fit exactly from 03 up? I am under the impression they are all the exact same. My XB stuff fits my 1125R...

Here are the part numbers from harley
You can double check online at Buell.com. click on gear on the top and then on catalog. its on page 12. the hero blue fits 03-05 models

Theoretically they should. I know my 03' XB9R intake cover fits my 08' 1125, but have not tried the swap between other models.

i think the newer ones have that vent by the gas cap. i think they still fit though.

They all fit. Any Lightning, Firebolt, Uly, or 1125 box cover will fit. I have a 09 Uly on my 04 Lightning. I wanted the vent by the gas cap.

Yup, that will fit. Personally I would look around for a used one cause it will be less than half price. I picked up my racing red one for $60 brand new on ebay. If you want new order from one of the badweb sponsers and they will give you a 10% discount.
