I should be getting the part tonight when I get home, and plan on doing the work tonight or tomorrow, any tips, do I have to remove the head, and does the velocity stack get removed? Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated! Hell, even wish me luck, I always seem to break something.

I use a Detroit diesel head oil line removal tool, essentially it's a $50 1/2" socket with the split side to go over the wire. I'll get a part # when I'm home

I bought one from "IronMachine" and the slit was a bit small. Make sure you turn the cable with the socket, because if the slit is to tight it will start to unwind the material.

And be careful when you crimp the new connector, if you mess it up you only have one. I messed it up and only 1 place in CA had it, if they didn't I would have to had ordered it online.

But it's pretty easy.

Cheers!
