ride a boss hoss

So there is a boss hoss rally going on across the street from where i live this weekend, they have been going up and down the roads, so i finally hopped on the buell and rode over there to see what they had going on. This weekend was the first time i've actually seen a boss hoss in person. I have to say they are massive!!!! they dont look fun to ride at all. The idea of an engine in a motorcycle that belongs in a corvette is ridiculous!!! They do sound awesome however. They have demo rides going on all weekend, So i might just go and give one a demo ride to be able to say I've ridden a V-8 motorcycle. They have trikes as well, they look pretty goofy IMO. for a pretty simple idea of a motorcycle they sure cost a pretty penny! like $30k-$50ishk

This is the first boss hoss ever created back in like 1990 or whenever the company started. the founder built this one in his shop and it's survived the past 22 years or so.

i dont even want to know how much money is sitting in this shed....

they had plenty of custom painted bikes along with some true power houses. One guy had one with NOS and all the bells and whistles. it claimed 1100 HP to it.

My brother is going to ride them tomorrow. He has ridden them before said they are crazy fast, just don't turn or stop well. Basically the exact opposite of a Buell lol.

haha i am in TN. I'm in the coast guard there so i live right at Paris landing. its a pretty good location. the rally is honestly across the street from me, i could walk there if i like.

but they look like they could be out handled by a toaster, and i can't imagine they stop very well. the guy i talked to said they are fairly balanced for as big as they are. we will see how that statement hold up tomorrow. it will be a bit intimidating to ride one, but like i said, how often do you get an opportunity like this.

Cool my brother lives in Dickson. Him and a buddy are going. They have demo rides here usually every bike week in daytona, that's where he rode one a few years ago. Not sure why he wants to go again, probably because of his buddy.

saw one run on a DYNO drag once @ a bike rally. Thought it was goin to break the straps they tie em to the dyno with. They are a neat novelty. U should so ride one and let us know what its like, just dont drop it on ur leg

Well guys sadly I did not get to get a demo ride in today. The line was really Long when I went by, and I made plans to take the new dirt bike out with some guys from work this afternoon. Oh we'll...maybe next year!

I saw one at a car show, I was shocked by how big the gas tank was. I later found out it holds 8.5 gallons. There is also a company that makes a bike with a Ford 302 called Sabertooth Motorcycles. Sabertooth Motorcycles

Our local Boss Hoss dealership is owned by Marv Jorgensen. I believe (don't know forsure) he had a huge part in developing the Boss hoss. Ironically my dad went to high school w/ Marv, Marv is "The fastest man on ice" (world record snowmobile holder) and just an all around bad ass dude. Well, I know he went in for bypass surgery and not sure if he made it out... Anywho, google him. Umm... Just came to the conclusion that I am officially drunk and done rambling. BUT I will leave u w/ a little story about the first time I saw a boss hoss up close. This dude comes over with one and I asked him, is that a 3 speed. Nope he says. 1 speed... Click down and go, well there is a reverse I guess.... Hopefully tomorrow I remember to tell y'all about the 1st time I ever rode w/ a dude on a hoss.... "Josh Whaley is blacked out"
