BuellDr, sweet! I grew up in Decatur. I live in Collinsville, IL now. Still come up every once in a while to see my buddies.

Elgin, is north. Up towards Chicago.

the ride of the century is an event in St Louis sept 17th to the 19th other details im unsure about.. my buddies know all about it ill get in touch with them and post them up here. to my knowlege just cruising around the city and bike shows and such. i have relatives in collinsivlle. I think its a beautiful city!!!

ride of the century is a MASSIVE amount of street bikes that flood the highway. last year the pretty much shut down hwy 70 in front of the arch and were stunting right in the middle of 70! some crazy ****. im choosing to go to lake of the ozarks bike fest that same weekend due to the fact that that much attention is far from what i need. and my wife is a new rider and probably shouldnt be in that big of a group yet with people riding wheelies past her and stuff. pretty neat to watch.

to me it gives bikers a bad name but it is bad ass and fun to watch. if your in a car behind this **** its gotta suck bawls. i went on the smaller TNA ride this year and there were about 250-300 bikes approx im told. was a good time but a clusterfuck and a half.

im just jealous i cant wheelie like that

i live in the st.louis area. the HIDs were easy as hell. it literally took me about 30 - 45 minutes.

i wouldnt mind a local ride sometime before the end of the season. if someone has an idea put it out there. maybe hit up one of the stlmoto monthly rides? or one of the remaining midnight madness events at gateway?

I would be interested in a ride as well. I would not have an issue coming to the MO side either because the roads on this side, IL, SUCK! Also making progress with Tunerpro on my bike! It will actually wheelie now! It is close to the wheelie power of my 00 X1 but I think I still have a little left in the comb. I have a wideband O2 coming that should be here towards the end of the week so I should be able to really smooth things out properly!

what is your thoughts on D/D exhaust??? i have heard bad things but i like the sound from what ive heard on youtube.. better than jardine?
