Yes riding pants , it's time to get more gear and I need a pair or really Two pairs of riding pants, maybe one pair of regular riding pants and a pair of over pants.
I searched through some threads and only found a few recommdations, like on the Your-riding-gear thread , I have a great helmet that I like and some good boots (I will get better ones later after pants) and I have A good Armored BUELL textile Adventure jacket, and will upgrade from it to an armored leather jacket later too.

So like I said I am looking to get some riding pants , as I can't probably afford to get both pants now I will have to chose which to get first. I want something very comfortable in the high 90-100+ temps to maybe also the cold &/or wet crazy weather, that changes every hour it seems like in spring fall & winter from hot to cold that we get here in OK, and that provides good to great protection when flipping and sliding across pavement rocks smalls trees etc, etc..
something that would fit well like regular Levis jeans, for regular riding pants and then for the over pants same as above protection and that would be comfortable over jeans.

please tell me what you have and what and why your recomendations are , post a pic of them front and back , side view or on bike if possible. as i have said before like on Xtreme's thread of Best-Leather-Jacket, I dont like bright colors or logos or other crap all over my jacket or pants or boots either (except for maybe a few buell/EBR logos are ok) I dont care to look like everyone else out there or be some walking/riding billboard advertising for some company like some people. I prefer dark colored pants, or maybe , just maybe a dark denium jeans riding pants, but prefer something in textile or leather if possible as they would provide better protection than even kevlar reinforced riding jeans.

I have these.

Joe Rocket perforated leather. I've crash tested textile and leather both. It seems that the asphalt gods require flesh... Doesn't matter to them if it's cow flesh or your flesh, but flesh they will have. Textile is not flesh.

Get them here

for bout 225

Tour Master Flex Pant

Tour Master Flex pants
They have 2 removable liners, 1 waterproof, 1 quilted
And can also turn into mesh for summertime
CE in the knees and a pointless hip pad
3/4 length zips on the side, not full zip but good enough
Velcro at the ankles to keep them tight, which tends to actually be a hard thing to find

I'm still looking and have narrowed it down (for now at least) to the (in order kinda mostly) the
icon automag_leather_motorcycle_overpants.
icon overlord_prime_leather_pants.
alpinestars/bat_leather_sport_motorcycle_pants

and possible pants next in line are
Joe-Rocket-Pro-Street-Leather-Pant
Firstgear-Mens-Leather-2011-Sport-Tour-Overpants
Joe-Rocket-Blaster-2-0-Mens-Leather-Pants
and maybe these boots
Cortech-Latigo-WP-RR-Boots-Road-Race

and i just saw these agv/willow_leather_motorcycle_pants. does anyone have these or the others above, and your thoughts on them, comfort level of them.

as of now I think the Icon AutoMag overpants would be good to have then get regular riding pants, because i think I need to have something I can wear over my jeans to work, and other places ...

I have the shift kevlar jeans. They are great, only on the 90 degree plus days do I really sweat in them
though. U can barely tell they have anything other then just regular jeans. Only the extra seem around the knees gives it away.

ArmyMP, I hope you don't have a date with the pavement. One of our old mods, buellpartsguy went down in kevlar jeans. They didn't do a thing. That doesn't mean you wont have better luck with them, but be warned.

I say this every time we have a gear discussion. As far as any gear goes, you're going to spend the money one way or another. Either medical bills or good gear. One of those choices involves less pain. I went down and took a 100' slide down the road wearing track gear. It was actually kind of fun looking back. I walked away with a tiny scratch on my hand, and my gloves were done for. Leathers still have a ton or scrapes.. I don't care, I still wear them.

The way I look at it is, if its rated for the track, it's good. Kevlar and textile reduce road rash. Track gear prevents it. The best part about buying track gear for regular riding is if you do decide to do a track day, you don't have to buy more gear.

Native. I've had the bat pants. I liked them. Very think and protective. Consider pucks though. They took a beating for me on my slide.

i ahve the black icon arc mesh over pants in black, dont get them till my borthday in two weeks tho..[confused].. ill let you know
