right side air scoop for Buell

Are the right side scoops really that effective at keeping the rear cylinder cool? They arent exactly cheap. But will it save my fan and lengthen the longevity of the motor in the long run? If so I would like to get one for my 04 lightning 12s

Good explanation LeFox. I don't have a RH scoop and have not seen one in person so I was just speaking theoretically.

no problem...it's good to be critical!
it's not because i help a friend in selling these scoops that i try need to convince people to buy them. also, not all rh scoops are the same

i had one, but now, with my mapped ecm, i don't need one. like i said

it does not solve the cause of the heat or the fact that the fan is blowing more than it needs too, but it does help reduce the symptoms.

also, with the my coated micron...i want it to be as visible as possible

i would get one and fit it when it's really hot, but over here, that doesn't happen often enough.
