Right Side Air Scoop Question

Right side air scoop..... Do they really help cool the rear cylinder and help the bike run cooler????? Who makes the best one (not carbon fiber)?????? Install easy??? Thanks..................

Ive ordered one in OZ wich cost $28 and 3 weeks wait, ive doning it more for looks

They DO work! I use the Buell one that costs about $40. It's not as symmetrical as the more expensive aftermarket ones but functionally, it's great! The fan runs less often and your leg and rear no longer get baked.

There are 2 styles available at the harley dealer that are hundreds cheaper than aftermarket. And yes! they help quite a bit. My fan will only come on after really hard riding. I would say that my fan runs 80% less than without the scoop!

Best 75$ Ive ever spent.. I cannot remember exactly what it cost, I got the large scoop.

100% worth it IMHO. If you don't mind spending MORE money there are much better looking setups.

I bought the 2010 stock right side scoop for the xbs/r models. I actually bought two of them. One for my 12R and one for my 12Scg. They were less that $17.00 each, use the existing hardware, and allow the fan to run about 80% less. Why spend more to do the same job. The part number is mo854.7aa.

i have the 2 piece uly and bought the 3 screw helps alot fan runs tons less and cost about 30 somthing for all the piece shipped
