You may be able to fault apple on their lack of modular systems, high prices, and relatively limited development opportunities on their mobile platforms. You have to respect their build quality and battery life, though. Nothing else even comes close.

Iphones may lack behind the other phones, but they'll longer without problems. All my blackberrys have died right at 2years or just short of it. Yet i've got friends who still rock the original iphones with no problems ever. So that says something. Switching from BlackBerry to I4S next week so RIP Steve. He did a lot for bringing technology along and forcing everyone to step up their game.
