Ever been stuck out at night, side of the road, etc and have nothing to see by? I bought this for a different reason, but now that I've seen this thing in the daylight, I can hardly wait for nightfall now. 1000 lumens of screaming brightness. Yep, it's pretty hard on the eyes if you look right at it.

I never even thought of putting a small light in the "trunk". Wouldn't that just be the balls to need one and not have it? I have one in my car. I guess I don't ride all that much at night, and when I do it's just around town, but still probably a smart idea.

TBH, even a cheapie chinese made AA led is better than having nothing and you can pick them up pretty much anywhere. I'd try finding a CREE R5 light if possible (latest generation I think) for better light output. I got this one from http://www.monsterflashlight.com/

They've got even brighter models, but this one was what got my attention. It's close to the same size as a mini-maglight, just a little fatter around the lens area.

Holy crap $220 its almost that much for the led tail light. Maybe you should get together with the guy that makes the led tail light, and you could come up with something that had a quick release/ **** I should patient that. Never mind it would never sell. Go EBR :D

Don't tell me that's a light saber. I really hope I spelled that correct, if I didn't, I meant to misspell it.
