i did this to mine using an r tail that i chopped and fiberglassed the fairing. the fairing didnt look good and i started to dislike it. however, i managed to fit everything under the seat, using a super small lithium battery.

imo, the behavior of the bike changed a little. i thought it didnt feel stable going higher speeds

Have a thread somewhere on this forum with more pics. I can sell the entire assembly (subframe, fairing, undertail, tail lights) if someone is interested and wants to take it from there. Oh yeah, also have the seat that would go with it
