This is a first for me posting a petition on forums but the story is horrendous. If you havn't signed the petition would you? This mum has not been freed despite earlier report that she would be.
I received an email today - an excerpt...
"As we sign and circulate this petition, we are keeping this story going. Every time the petition is signed, we send an email directly to the UN High Commissioner on Human Rights, the President of Sudan, and the US Embassy in Sudan. Currently we have sent them over 283,000 emails. Help keep their inboxes full… help keep social media buzzing… help keep Merriam's story on the front page of every newspaper."
