Not sure what you're asking, but I Installed a Penske rear shock in my XB12Scg, and swapped my forks for SS forks.

Any decent suspension shop can completely upgrade your suspension if thats what you're after...

You can definitely buy an upgraded rear shock, front fork springs and have any reputable suspension shop revalve them as necessary.

Traxxion, Lindemann, PPS, Racetech, etc.

There are tons of options. Call them.

I think there is enough dampning adjustment in the front forks,Its the springs that could use improvement.I would install one with a more radical progressive wind,so its smoother on the road but doesnt completely bottom out when braking and fast cornering. The problem is,finding replacement springs the same length as scg.Without having to shorten them.

to the OP.

The scg was a model of bike. Scg was not an aftermarket upgrade. The Scg was the shortest of all buells and offered with the Lightnings not the firebolts. Instead of calling it "the shortest" or whatever they named it Scg. The center gravity is what the cg stands for. The rear shock, front forks and seat were all shorter. The same bike in the 9 model was called I believe xb9sl.

Some folks have switched thier bikes to this for ergos/reach. Some have done it for looks I guess. Some like me bought it not knowing what it was until after the fact. LOL And some I suspect bought one because thats what they found and liked.
I hope this helps [up]
