Scratch Help

Hello all
I have an 09 1125r, black and under the headlight area under the front faring along the side by the pod I have a scratch or should I say almost looks like a cut in the plastic. I tried Novous 2 and then 1 but when I did that its like the plastic fibers were pealing or striping off. Like little hairs and if you pull them they just rip worse. Question is how do I stop that and fix this? I tried to find a new front fairing but I cant find black. I did look for 1125r OEM stickers maybe I can cover the scratch, cant find them either... Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks

Can you post a picture of exactly what your trying to repair? For some reason it sounds like fiberglass strands, but that thing should be made of plastic...

If you can't get the scratch figured out you can get a new fairing at the link below. It may even turn out to be more cost effective in the long run.
