The chin fairing on my xb9 is scratched and has a piece broken off. Is there anything I can do about the scratches. I wasn't sure if I can sand them out and then repolish the plastic or if that would just make the plastic haze. Is there a way to fix the broken peice or can I get a replacement for just the black part.

personally I say the finer the better and end with something like a headlight restorer kit... I will search a few threads I think I remember seeing one on this if I find it I will post a link

EDIT: found it:
Fixing plastics

haha it was my thread ... but to add to this For the deepest scratches I would still use an extremely fine sandpaper instead of polish but others maybe able to help you more

Hey there is one for sale on ebay. (black center piece)
I tried to post the link but it wouldn't work. Stupid thing wont do more than 60 letters. [mad]

that fairing was one of those "epic fails" by the buell design staff. That plastic should have been used to make something useful like douche tubes.
