Anyone use it on their Buell? Assuming you use a vacuum line that is directly in the intake after the filter, anyone run it through a vacuum line? What about in the gas? Just curious.

I have liked the stuff and I wouldn't mind giving it a try on the Buell.

i tried it on my drz through the vacumm line but would bog out...and having that stuff stop the motor i heard is bad..(correct me if im wrong) but i have ran it through the gas on my xb12r and it was fine like chief said..no probs...

I put a little in with 93 octane gas after winter storage. Never had any issues with it.

I never had a problem not using it. Instead of spending $12 on a bottle of magic Seafoam stuff, I spent it on 6 bottles of Lagunitas[cool]

FYI Store your bike with a tank of 90 Non-ethanol. It's a pain to get blah, blah, blah but It's still cheaper than Seafoam, and saves a trip to Vatozone. The additional light hydrocarbon chains in "super" evaporate much faster so it's pointless to store it, and we all know what ethanol does[down]

Been using seafoam in all my vehicles, Buell included, for years. No issues.

Usually put it in with the gas a few times a year, including winter storage. And I've added a few ounces to the oil in my Jeep about 100 miles before an oil change.

I've done the seafoam thing through the brake booster on all my cars/trucks. Never had an issue. I suck up about 1/3 of the can while the idle stumbles, then submerge the hose and kill the engine. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes while I put half of what's left in the gas and half in the oil. Take it for a spin (haul ass and leave a smoke trail) and change the oil and filter after 50-100 miles.

I've done this on ever 4-wheel vehicle I've owned. Always getting excellent mileage and never once had a bad experience.

On carb'd bikes I just put it in the fuel. On EFI bikes, I put it in the fuel and then spray some from a spray bottle into the throttle body. I don't bother doing the oil of the bikes.

...once a year...
