hi guys,

i am kind of annoyed to see a drip underneath my bike,XB12R 05, i am wondering if it is easy to change the seal where the clutch cable come in the casing of the Tranny ?? i heard is a common problem with HD/Buell bikes. i just don't want to go at HD to fix it.. Thank guys

Do NOT over tighten it!! They are like glass! It's just a hollow tube. New 'o'-ring and then make it SNUG!! :)

Yes you can change the o ring like mentioned but sometimes they leak between the crimped ferrule and plastic cable housing. Only way to fix that is replace the cable.

Yeah if u over tighten it. It will remain loose inside the hole and vibrate all the time. And leak. And u'll have to replace the primary cover at some point.

No....You can EASILY get out the broken end with an EZ-Out. Cut the cable and pull it out, then use EZ-Out and turn out the broken part. Good to go again. If you did break it, it will leak like a pig...especially once the oil gets hot and thin.
