I'm looking for a seat cowl for my XB12s. All I've seen so far are that ones that are selling for $230. They are pieces of unpainted plastic. Is that really what people are paying for those things? Seems pretty steep. Anyone know where to get one priced to sell in reality?

there are ones available for less than half that price...
although they still need to be painted.

That link wasnt working for me. How much? Do you have any picsw of it on a bike? I'd like to see what it looks like whn finished.

Now I see it. Slag...i posted a question to you on another forum under the same name. For simplicity sake I'll just stick to this one. How does it attach to the bike? It says it slips on in your ad. Any chance of this thing coming off while riding? Thanks.

it is a tight fit to the seat and kind of sits inside the rear subframe. Have had mine on for over 3000 miles and it does not move even with me sliding back into it.

Both look good I think. The one on the black bike is lower...not sure which one I like better. But the gold one from Slag is cheaper. All the low ones I've seen are crazy expensive or cost an arm and a leg to have shipped to the US. Hey Slag, is the mold you made the exact same as the gold one on your bike? Any bigger or smaller?

the one on my gold bike was the proto type. i pulled my mold right off it so it is an exact match.

if you send me your corbin seat i can modify one to fit im pretty sure only the front portion will need to be opened up to fit.

Will either of these work with the Corbin gunfighter seat?
think you would have to with slag's cover...the original design is high enough to get it to fit the corbin seat, so it would only need minor adjustments.

Would it be too much trouble for you modify one to make it a little lower. I have no concept of what it takes for you to make one so I may be asking for something that cant be done. Either way...how do I purchase one. Whats the next step?

to make a lower profile one it would be like starting from scratch.

if you are ready to buy one let me know what color you want it or if you just want primmer so you can paint it yourself and zip code so i can figure out shipping price. you can email me at [email protected]

the ss is longer it the seat area and it would not fit.

Why have a beautiful leather Corbin seat and cover it with a bit of slip-on plactic (sorry NOMORE4s4ME).

same reason my cover goes over the new seat i had made in elephant skin

I don't have a Corbin seat...just the stocker. Not that it would matter. Don't care much for the look of the Corbin they make for Buells.

I'll be in touch Slag. I can't e-mail you from work. In the meantime my zip is 21204 and I would like a primmer version. Thanks.
