I just bought my first buell and my feet barly touch the ground. How do i know if the suspension is set-up ok for my weight?

You'll want to set what's known as 'sag'. Adjust your pre-load so that you have ~3/4" to 1" of loaded sag on the front, & ~1" to 11/4" of sag on the rear. The manual also gives a chart pre-load positions for given rider weights.

If this is your first bike, spend some time getting used to being unable to straddle it flat-foot; I promise you'll get used to it after several weeks or months!

If its an S model I have an scg seat I'd be willing to sell. Its the lowest seat available for the lightning models.

Your feet don't need to touch.... unless you are uncomfortable and in danger of dropping it.

You will get accustomed to not reaching completely.
