Seat Options for City X

Could I get some help with what seats will fit my CityX? I really like the TT seat. This would save me a trip to the dealer with a tape measure. Thanks in advance.

Most lightning seats should work. The TT seats will not work because they are the same as the long versions like the XB12Ss.

The CityX is my favorite type of Buell. I didn't have the cash to buy one when they first came out so I had to go with a used XB12Scg. What are you looking for in a seat? I like the select seat personally.

I would like it to be an inch taller and have a little shape to the passenger area like the Select. Ultimately a rear cowl would be a nice look but they are rather expensive. Could you comment on the Select for comfort? Thanks.

The select seat is quite a bit more comfortable than my standard Buell XB12Scg seat. The Scg is the low model and the seat was pretty hard. I don't know what the standard CITY X feels like.

I personally don't care for the look of the cowl on a naked sport bike. I like that look on a Honda CBR or GSXR, but not on a Buell Lightning. As I've seen from running this forum for a couple years, everyone has different opinions on performance, appearance, loudness of pipes, etc. You should get some more opinions for sure.
