im aware that the D&D exhause for the 1125 is quite loud but is there anything out there in comparison?[confused]

nothing against dean but bang for your buck the barker is awesome IMO. Dean makes some beautiful pipes i just couldn't talk the old woman into letting me spend the extra cash

Deans pipe(keda).
or Barker either are plenty loud.
Reminds me i need to order a repack kit for my Barker.
Plan on Buying the Erik buell Racing computer with it Really wakes these bikes up and the run a ton smoother

The one in the middle is an RT-4. This one pictured is jet powder coated. If you do something like this, make *sure* they cap the ends of the collector before coating it. The slip fit is extremely close and that extra .010" to .015" material will make it impossible to fit on without doing some cleanup.

i am a big fan of that rt3 pretty sweet how much do those run?I believe it was the first sound clip that was played.

silly quesion, i was doing some reading on the RT3 exhaust it says it will not meet epa standards and its only a race exhaust, so i guess if you piss off the wrong cop big ticket for you or is it ususaly not a problem?

The RT4 is the one I have been drooling over on ur website. I can't say it enough you do good work Dean!! I'll have to save up my pennies and maybe by next season u will have the "quiet technology" done for this pipe. I like the fact ur only about 3 hours away from me and I could make a trip and hear them in person.

On a side note, none of the stuff I make will really meet the EPA standards, the stock pipe is borderline as it is. My real target audience is for the performance. I don't have the resources to make a pipe like the stocker for sound, it would be entirely too complicated for what I'm doing in the garage.

so what would be the complications for everyday riding? i dont race but i love the sound and look of the RT3!! [up]

I would recommend the EBR race ECM to match it and possibly the insert to tone down the volume some if it turns out louder than you expect. The D&D is definitely louder though and doesn't make as much power. Mine make maybe 10 hp more? Same for torque.
