Second try at buying a buell...need your opinions.

There is no way in hell that bike is worth 3600 I don't care how many miles it has on it. It's gonna cost you like 1500-2000 to fix it right. I would offer him 1000 and tell him 1200 is as high as youll go. I would keep looking. look in a couple surounding states, take a bus or train, rent a truck and drive it home

can you say parts bike. don't waste your time with that hunk of scrap. it's not worth more then what the insurance buy back would be.(around $650 including tax) you should be able to find one in 10 times better shape for 2/3 that price and keep in mind the market has bottomed out on buell's right now. with the economy and people thinking they can't get parts for them anymore.
