Does anyone know if its possible to put self cancelling turn signals on a firebolt? Its the only bike I have that doesn't have it so I'm horrible at cancelling them when I ride it.

Sucks huh? Just to show how fucked Harley is they didn't let Buell use ones in their parts bin. Don't all Sportsters have them?

Kisan makes the "signal minder." This unit goes in place of the flasher, to give you self cancelling signals. The wrinkle is that you have to put springs or foam buttons in the switch to push it back to the zero postion. Check it at Kisan Technologies. They're good to talk to if you've got questions.

Further to Baal, Kisan signal minder SM-1 is the model number. For Ulysses.

I don't remember having to push the switch back to zero position... it was always push to cancel.

Hm. I guess I need to ask Kisan. For some reason when you read about that model, they talk about the springs or foam jobbies to recenter. On BMWs, it's great: Push the turn signal and forget it. Is that pretty much how this one works on Buells?
