I could have used that a few days ago riding the PCH in pitch black with back to back 15 mph switchbacks for 50 miles, with the road reflectors looking like deer eyes!

I believe they take a deposit. If they raise enough money on deposits to make the project worthwhile, they build. It looks like they are getting close in backers. Says delivery dates are Jan 2020.
I've bought knives this way before. If it doesn't get enough interest or deposits they don't build and you get your money back. At least that's how it works as far as I know.
