I also ordered new grips, bar ends, and a K&N so I will be installing everything back at the same time and can't wait! When I get the exhaust back I will be sure to upload a video of the exhaust since there are none right now.

your gonna love the sound, plus pay attention to your throttle response, it is soo much better with his pipe!

Thanks Mr. Dowden...lots of us have been waiting for someone to post clips of Randy's 1125 pipe.

GTP... do you have a Hawk on your 1125?? I haven't talked to anybody that has it.

Snyder- I was wondering the same thing but Randy told me it doesn't need it but it will definitely help. That will be my next Mod more than likely... besides tryin to fabricate a set of better looking mirrors!

my xb 12ss had the race map and jardine on it before getting one of randys modded pipes.
i am still trying to get it tuned right..it does not run right off the bottom..the front wheel used to jump staight up..now i still cant get it right.
if someone has a racemap file that works well with the same setup..i would love to get it right finally. mine has the breather mod and airbox opened up as well.
not sure if others have had out of the box success.

my XB9s ran fine w/ the stock map when i 1st installed a hawk exhaust on it. except maybe for the popping on decel, which was pretty loud and excessive.

after a couple of months, i loaded up the standard race map and the bike's smoothness improved drastically. also the bike runs cooler, is easier to lug and ride at walking speeds, and gets better gas mileage. i didnt think there was anything wrong with it before (except for the excessive popping)but theres no way im going back.

Well for an update, I received my exhaust today but can't even freakin install it!! I fell off a ladder monday morning and hit my lower back on a ledge. Pinched Sciatic Nerve and deep tissue/muscle bruise so I cant even put my work boots on right now. As soon as I am well I will be installing and putting up a vid on Youtube. Man this sucks! lol

Good god. Talk about terrible luck! Looks like some supernatural force does not want you to have the exhaust on, nor for us to hear and see it! I hope you get well soon! [cool]

FINALLY!!! I installed the muffler yesterday and it sounds amazing! Exactly what I wanted. I took it for a little test ride(back is still not 100%) and it sounds so good through the gears and I can tell a substantial power gain between the pipe and K&N! The video doesn't even come close to how it sounds in person but I promised I would get one so this is what I have now. If anyone knows a better camera to use to pick up the deep notes??

Matt

sounds good! but i like the sounds of my keda-design rt3 better [smirk] but hey sounds a million times better than stock!

also if anyone wants to do this to their 1125 I have a stock muffler sitting in my attic I could send to randy for y'all so you dont have to sit around with no pipe waiting for him :D

To each his own... for $220 I am very happy and personally don't like the looks of aftermarket pipes unless you were to put some type of chin fairing, otherwise it looks like a dirt bike or something... just too open...just my opinion.

thank you very much! I have been on a couple rides with people and everybody goes on and on about how "Mean" it sounds! I ran my buddy on his 04' gsxr 1000 from 1st-3rd and I came from behind and inched passed him before we approached a curve... He and I both were impressed with the performance from just a pipe and k&n.
