I cut my own pipe up and it cost $14 for the tips and an afternoon in the garage. Could a shop have done a more professional job? For sure, but Im the cheapest of the cheap and always looking at the best bang for the buck. If you're thinking of doing it yourself, its easy. Even if you dont have a welder, you can probably find a shop to weld it up for $50 bucks or so.

Just so happens that I work in a Sheetmetal/Machinist shop! Was thinking of cutting off the tips and doing some much larger ones in some type of custom manner...
